This 32,000 bird free-range poultry development brought together RPD's siteworks and concrete capability on a single agricultural site — ground preparation and foundations first, then the internal floor slabs that define the working environment inside the building.

01 / SITE

Site preparation and groundworks set the development out — earthworks, drainage and foundations prepared for the new unit.

02 / CONCRETE

Internal floor slabs completed in three pours, with polishing continuing through the night to achieve the finished surface.

03 / COMPLETE

The completed development stands ready for its 32,000 bird free-range operation, with concrete aprons and siteworks tying the site together.

ONE POLISHED FINISH.

The internal floor slabs were completed in three pours, with polishing work continuing through the night to achieve the finish the building needed. The result is a clean, hard-wearing polished concrete surface across the full footprint of the unit.
