A STRUCTURE.
Egg conveyor support systems are a specialist structural steelwork package: an elevated, covered route carrying the conveyor between buildings — high enough to keep the working site fully open underneath. This was the first such system RPD completed, fabricated in our own workshop and erected on site.
01 / SUPPORT STEELWORK
An elevated galvanised steel support system carries the covered egg conveyor between buildings, fabricated by RPD.
02 / VEHICLE BRIDGE
A bridge structure spans the articulated lorry route through the site, keeping full vehicle access open below the conveyor.
03 / ROUTE & ERECTION
The route changes direction between buildings, with the support steelwork erected on site by RPD's in-house crews.
THE ELEVATED ROUTE
UP AND OVER.
ACCESS KEPT OPEN.
The galvanised support steelwork lifts the covered conveyor clear of the working site. Where the route crosses the articulated lorry route, a bridge structure spans the gap — so vehicles pass straight underneath without the conveyor line ever coming down to ground level.

FABRICATION & ERECTION

The support steelwork was fabricated in RPD's own workshop and erected on site by RPD's in-house crews — the same joined-up fabrication-and-erection capability behind the structural frames we deliver across Scotland.
