RPD Appointed as main contractor for Biomass Drying Facility near Ellon
RPD are delighted to have been awarded a contract as main contractor for the erection of a new biomass drying facility near Ellon.
The project, once again from an existing RPD customer, is for a second biomass drying building, identical to one we constructed in 2014.
The building of 24m span x 36m long x 7.5m to eaves, houses the integrated drying floor ducts with central tunnel, while a 3 bay lean-to houses the biomass boilers, with an insulated lean-to fan house to the rear.
RPD retain CE approval
RPD are delighted to have retained our quality management certification for factory production control from BSI after our annual audit. Enabling our structural steel buildings to be CE approved, as per BS EN 1090-1,2.
As of 2014, all steel framed buildings in the UK were legally required to be CE approved.
